Motivation is assumed to occur mainly through external motivation (rewards and punishments). This process can build the students behavior in the aspect of social, emotional and cognitive.
A reward is only effective to the degree that the person wants it and a punishment is only effective to the degree that the person wants to avoid it. Reward and punishment must go together because it can construct the students behavior become the good person. These opportunities can help the students in practicing the behavior.
